JOTUN BARRIER 80

Jotun Barrier 80 is a two-component polyamide cured zinc rich epoxy coating.

This two-component polyamide-cured zinc-rich epoxy coating is a high-solids product with a high zinc dust content. It meets the compositional requirements of SSPC Paint 20, Level 2, and ISO 12944-5. The coating offers excellent corrosion protection as part of a complete coating system and is intended for use as a primer in atmospheric environments. It is suitable for application on carbon steel, for repairing inorganic zinc silicate coatings, and for restoring damaged galvanized steel substrates. This product conforms to ASTM D520 Type II zinc dust standards.

Jotun Barrier 80 is suitable for structural steel and piping exposed in corrosivity categories up to C5 (ISO 12944-2). Recommended for offshore environments, refineries, power plants, bridges, buildings, mining equipment, and general structural steel. It is specially designed as a primer for coating systems where extended durability is required.
