Remmers IQ M Universal is an attachment adhesive and thin-layer plaster finish in the iQ-Therm 2.0 system.

Area of application.

Bonding of iQ-Therm 2.0 interior insulation strips to the substrate and to each other (bed joints)
Mineral substrates (also containing sulphate or gypsum), plasterable wall building materials and substrates
Reinforcement and thin layer plaster in the iQ-Therm 2.0 system

The Remmers iQ-Therm system attains multiple advantages and fulfills diverse functional requirements through a systematic process. Firstly, holes are strategically created at regular intervals perpendicular to the surface in highly insulating polyurethane foam panels. During the manufacturing phase, these holes are meticulously filled with a specialized, highly capillary-active, mineral material. Following this, the panels seamlessly integrate with the interior wall surface by utilizing a fully compatible bedding and bonding mortar. To enhance the system’s capabilities, a pore-filled, lightweight mortar, 10 to 15mm thick, is subsequently applied over the panels. This final step not only provides an additional layer of insulation but also establishes a moisture buffering absorption layer, further contributing to the overall performance of the iQ-Therm system.
